Who am I?
Good question. I am Vice President of Engineering at Ampt, a company that specializes in developing innovative power conversion technologies and products for renewable energy. I am also an Adjunct Faculty member at the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department at Colorado State University, where I am associated with the development of very high power (petawatt!) lasers. I am a deeply curious person with a passion for all areas of science, technology, and design. I have worked in a wide variety of subjects, including hot and cold plasmas, lasers, high power electrical discharges, optical sensors, neural networks, ecological modeling, and the shape of microscopic worms. I also love teaching, watching movies, riding my bicycle, and cooking for family and friends.
